The Community Improvement Award Program, sponsored by the Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce and the Huntingdon County Planning Commission, is intended to recognize excellence in development.  Award categories included: 

• New Construction

• Preservation: Historic/Adaptive Reuse

• Community Spirit

• Special Merit  

The 2025 Awards were presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Kish Bank as part of the HCPC's February 26, 2026 Annual Dinner Meeting and Awards Presentation.  Awardees included:

• New Construction - Camp Kanesatake Dining Hall

• Community Spirit (2) - East Broad Top Railroad, Take A Train to School Day & Huston Brothers Store

• Special Merit (2)  - CHAMP & Joel and Barbara Brown/Creation of Historic Building Preservation Foundation
